James Webb ha effettuato la prima salita di “The Multiverse” (8B+) in Wyoming.

“Ieri mattina ho avuto la fortuna di effettuare la prima salita di uno dei migliori boulder che abbia mai salito,” ha scritto Webb sul suo Instagram il 3 novembre “Ho visto le foto di questa bestia per un paio di anni e ho deciso che era tempo di andare a controllare. ”

Il problema, si trova nella Bear Valley, nel Northern Wind River Range.

Webb ha fatto un bel tour nel West. Ha salito “The Reckoning” (V14) e “I Shot The Sheriff” (V13) a Squamish prima di andare a Leavenworth, negli Stati Uniti, dove ha realizzato una FA “Drawn and Quarterede” (V13). Ha ottenuto il primo posto al Portland Boulder Rally il 4 ottobre e al Northwest Boulderfest di Seattle il 13 ottobre. Ha poi continuato il suo tour a Leavenworth dove ha fatto la prima ripetizione di “Re Slayer” (V13) e la prima salita della tecnica “Sling Blade Sit”(V13).

Il primo giorno a City of Rocks, altra tappa del viaggio, ha effettuato un’altra FA, “Tres huecos”, (V12), secondo lui una delle migliori linee realizzate. Non molto tempo dopo e prima di approdare a “The Multiverse” in Whyoming, l’ha spuntata su “45-degree Rhythm Mechanics” (V13).
